Federal Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans – They closed the Kispiox River Again

If you have not read our primer on “White Canadians” you really need to in order to grasp just how outrageous the radical “Indians” have become. This closure is not a closure of fishing on this river, but rather the same people involved in the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition and the Kispiox Colberative, that have been the heart of the anti LNG protests, and when protests fail to get results, then unknown terrorists start destroying private property. This is about 2 guiding companies kicking out all “White Canadians” working in collaboration with the Gitksan Watershed Authority.

How many people know that the Stock Assessment Biologist at Fisheries and Oceans Canada also doubles as an agent for the Gitksan Watershed Authority? Ryan Whitmore is listed as the official representative to British Columbia’s Skeena Angler Advisory Team as the agent for the Gitksan Watershed Authority.

Take special note of Shannon McPhail’s comments.

Take special note of Shannon McPhail’s comments, she coauthored the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition  with her father who owns guiding rights on the Kispiox River. This screenshot is from 2024. Look how she bends the conversation inquiring about “kill nets” on the river to LNG and climate change. This is how the uneducated have turned truth upside down and inside out. Its not even about truth anymore, its about end objectives.

The five people who started the Gitksan Watershed Authority are Don Ryan, Neil B. Sterritt Sr., James Stevens, Jerry Gunanoot and Wilmer Johnson, representing only 5 of the 24 Gitxsan Houses in Kispiox, and only 5 out of over 60 Gitxsan Houses that make up their nation, yet the DFO in Hazleton has decided these are the people they will take their marching orders from.

The arrogance is astounding, Craig Sr Dundas does NOT own the river or land outside of their reserve, it belongs to all Canadians.

For those of you who do not know who Bob Hooton is please read “Bob Hooton – Protector and Defender of Skeena Steelhead nobody with no exception put more time and effort into protecting the steelhead in our rivers than Bob Hooton, and to be badmouthed by a man who contributed nothing is double insulting. Bob made a very important observation, the Kispiox Indians are still going down the Skeena River with “KILL NETS” also known as gill nets, killing, coho, steelhead and pinks, and its been observed by many people, that they keep the sockeye, and throw the dead bycatch (coho, pinks and steelhead) back into the river, the senseless abuse of Indian privilege. What ever happened to the claim by Indians that abusing fish was a crime against their elders? Clearly they are entitled to invent new “oral history” in order to do whatever the hell they wish. Nobody dares to point out thier contradictions or you will be blacklisted.

If you witness this abuse and tell the Hazelton DFIO, they brush you off and tell you the Indians have that right, they are the stewards of our fish stocks.

Speaking up comes with consequences – The freedom of expression no longer exists.

The truth exposed from two years ago. now we have a new master and a new excuse to kick out white Canadians.

Also from 2 years ago. Now we have new excuses to keep white Canadians out.

For over a decade while they themselves reap in the harvest of privilege, they have been busy calling the white race privileged, in order to hide the real truth.

Many people reported this to the Hazelton Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans, and they simply shrug their shoulders, tell you its allowed, then make sure you are only getting 2 fish, and making damned certain your hook has no barb. No rules for Indians but wow they are thick as flies on a bumper watching every move “White Canadians” make down at the river.

Kill nets no problem, by the hundreds, no problem, but pretend to be conservation officers protecting the fish from the predictor “White Canadians” the Indians can fish with KILL NETS, they do not pay for a fishing license, they do not pay the  salmon conservation stamp.

Not only does the DFO load the dice against “White Canadians”  the people they accuse of living on stolen land, they use our Salmon Conservation Stamp and handing those funds over to the Gitksan Watershed Authorities a small but very radical group that consists of only 5 house groups out of 60 in the Gitxsan Nation. They are the same anti development radicals, the anti oil gas and industry, and they are gifted funds from OUR Salmon Conservation Stamp a fund they never paid anything into ever.

This is not the first time the Federal Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans interfered with the “White Canadians” right to fish this river. Read “They closed the Kispiox River – A state of Corruption on the Skeena” The NDP have been goading the Indians on into a full scale revolution, instead of negotiating, ignoring the Delgamuukw v. British Columbia decision, because they are doing exactly what David Eby wants them to do.

This has nothing to do with protecting coho or pink salmon and everything to do with preserving the entire river for a few guides that contribute very little to society, and are working hand in hand with those who want to turn over our rivers to the very people who pay no taxes. (I know, you will argue but we do when you shop in local towns, but in fact that amount  amounts to nothing after you get to file your claims)

The Hazelton Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans, and the Gitksan Watershed Authorities collaborate to a degree its hard to see who is telling who what to do. Decisions are made jointly, and we all know from having dealt with the Hazelton Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans, that treat “White Canadians” as if they broke the law and are not really welcome to fish on the Skeena, blatant unfounded accusations, no apologies, and walk like they are the modern day River Gestapo. They clearly forgot who is paying their wages, and it makes me wonder how they can go home at night knowing how they are treating their own people. Did they forget they are “white” as well?

The bottom line is the Hazelton Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans makes us feel unwelcome on a river owned by  “White Canadians“, if you don’t believe me, look up the legal facts, before this corrupt politicians rob Canadians of their rightful heritage. They are NOT conservation officers, they are law officers, and they sure never let you forget that. Maybe if I was a colored person, or wore rainbows in my hair, would they have been more civilized? I have met hundreds of officers over the last 50 years on the Skeena River that were true to their profession, they were conservation officers, not bullies with badges, this is a new generation of bullies with badges, promoting the theme that we are all uninvited guests.

Not long ago the radical Gitxsan from Gitanyow demanded the Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans close the Skeena River below the Kitwanga Bridge, I fished that location for over 40 years, side by side with local Indians, no problem, and then a few radicals wanted “White Canadians“ removed and the the Department of Fisheries, Indians and Oceans simply complied. No science, no followup, just simple obedience to the radicals.

These guides are all part of the shut down industry, so nice considering the entire Kispiox Valley was logged off by daddy Allen, who founded the SWCC.

Board of Directors of the SWCC is Jim Allen

Todd Stockner and his wife, Todd is a director with the SWCC and his wife who also works for Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition

The Kispiox River has two licensed fishing guides or guiding companies on it,  Jim Allen / Kispiox Fishing Company and Todd Stockner / Mykiss Guiding.  Each had roughly 3–5 assistant guides, so the total guiding workforce was approximately 8–12 people, they do not publicly declare how many of those are aboriginal. We do know they work hand in hand doing all they can to block all industry in our region. Almost without exception the second job when not guiding is paid protesting.

The Gravy Train – All funded with “White Canadian” Dollars

Keeping in mind, we are the uninvited guests, the colonizers, and as Craig Sr Dundas said, “you are welcome to leave our land if you are not happy”

News Flash – It’s not your land, you never proved title or ownership of the land, your forefathers were transient people, there was never ownership of the land. You are however subject to Canada’s sovereign control of OUR land.

The NDP/Liberal Coalition has been spoon feeding Indians into believing they not only have a right to all the land water and fish and wildlife, but that they have a God given right to live at our expense. The staggering amount of funding coming from money they borrow will become the millstone around our children s neck, in interest and dept payments. When our funds run out, what will they live on?

Unused fish off to the dump, then restock with fresh fish.

Endless dollars being borrowed from future generations.

Endless dollars being borrowed from future generations.

Rebranding of Indians to “Indigenous”

Rebranding of Indians to “Indigenous”

And the Liberals and NDP keep insisting that aboriginals are living below the poverty line.

Do you really believe Indians aka aboriginals are living below the poverty line? Is so who is getting all this money? The per capita spending on aboriginals is outrageously higher than it is for normal non aboriginal taxpayers.

The DFO is not only funding this fir profit project, they are paying all the costs and the Indians keep all the profits.

Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre – All funded with “White Canadian” Dollars

Just to be clear, these numbers are not totals, we did not have time to get totals, they could double or triple this total we presented.

Federal and B.C. government records for Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society in Smithers.

There isn’t one public page that gives a single “all-time government funding” number. However, I found substantial documented government funding, including:

$808,383 from Indigenous Services Canada, under an agreement beginning April 1, 2017.
$448,659 from the federal Department of Justice for victim services related to MMIWG. The original agreement was $408,659 and was later amended.
$191,988 from Women and Gender Equality Canada for Indigenous women and gender-equality work, 2022–2025.
$250,000 through the National Association of Friendship Centres’ Mental Health Support Program for trauma-informed mental-health counselling.
$224,497 from the B.C. government for a shared-cost employment/services agreement.
$221,400 in a B.C. Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres allocation.
$150,000 for a northern B.C. community shuttle program.
$216,000 over three years from B.C.’s Indigenous-led non-profit funding program.
$30,000 from B.C.’s Giving Voice program in 2024.
$8,000 from Canadian Heritage for Dze L K’ant Reconciliation Week in 2024.
$6,700 for the same type of reconciliation programming in 2025.
$7,000 for Dze L K’ant Reconciliation Week in 2026.
$25,000 from the federal New Horizons for Seniors program in 2013.
Historical Aboriginal Healing Foundation funding of $591,414.

PLUS – All funded with “White Canadian” Dollars – Race based housing projects

The 31-unit affordable housing complex at 2720 Highway 62 in Hazelton—serving seniors, people with disabilities, and members of the Gitxsan Nation and Wet’suwet’en First Nation—received approximately $7 million in funding from the B.C. government More “White Dollars”

$13.6 million through the Building BC: Indigenous Housing Fund. Town of Smithers: approximately $33,000 in contributions, plus land provided through a long-term lease. The land was valued at about $112,000 for equity purposes. More “White Dollars”

Dze L K’ant Housing Society will not disclose the projected cost to taxpayers until the project nears completion. Given that it looks like the same building as Smithers has it would not be far fetched to sugest no less that 14 Million “white Dollars”

FOR THE RECORD – We are not racist, we hate racism, and it has somehow become acceptable when aboriginals use racist slurs against “White Canadians” We are not the ones saying we live on stolen land, we are not the ones saying we are colonizers, this comes from the very people using “White Canadians”  tax dollars to fund projects, never out of their pockets and always out of ours.

Not to be left out, Nathan Cullen, and you are wonder who funded all these radical Indians?

This is exactly why Nathan Cullen should never be elected again. He is selling all of us down the river.
