Taylor Bachrach turns to dirty politics.
Its been all over the news so why would Taylor Bachrach miss the boat on telling white lies about Conservatives. Let’s be clear, there is no such thing as a white lie, only outright lies made in desperation. Why would anyone be surprised that a rookie journalist from CBC would take the bait? What Taylor Bachrach is hiding from local constituents is that he knows full well, entire character assassination plot on Aaron Gunn was hatched by the former NDP candidate from Nanaimo-Ladysmith. Bob Chamberlin ran 2 times for the NDP in 2019 and lost both times to the Green party. In 2021 under the candidate Lisa Marie Barron the NDP won the riding by a very narrow margin over the Conservative candidate Tamara Kronis who in this election has a significant lead over the NDP incumbent.
Bob Chamberlin chose intentionally to using his former status as vice-president of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) in an attempt to manipulate the vote against Aaron Gunn as a means to attack the Conservative Party candidate who looks poised to win that seat on Election day.
Let me quote a CBC article.
A former vice-president of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) wants the Conservative Party to drop its candidate in his riding over posts on social media that show “denial of residential school impacts.”
“I find it extremely troubling that a candidate for any party could make such blatantly racist comments,” said Bob (Galagame) Chamberlin, who served as UBCIC vice-president for 10 years and as elected chief of Kwikwasut’inuxw Haxwa’mis First Nation for 14 years.
Bob Chamberlin is spearheading a malicious lie, a character assassination attempt on Aaron Gunn, and Taylor Bachrach jumps on board.
Bob Chamberlin is simply using his status as vice-president of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) as campaign litter for the NDP, to intentionally manipulate the aboriginal vote in favor of the NDP. No wonder Taylor Bachrach is knocking on the doors of the CBC to try save himself from a near certain loss in the upcoming election. This is the very kind of dirty polics were were hoping not to have in Skeena—Bulkley Valley.
Poilievre told a news conference in Osoyoos, B.C., Saturday that accusations about North Island-Powell River candidate Aaron Gunn are “misinformation.” He said Gunn “has not denied the impact of residential schools” and instead wants to condemn the government-sponsored system that removed more than 150,000 Indigenous children from their families, with the last institution closing in 1996. Poilievre said Gunn wants to “build stronger partnerships with First Nations people to unlock our resources so that we can produce incredible pay cheques and opportunities” for Indigenous communities across B.C.
We do know that the following dirt bag was not a Conservative.
The NDP are in desperation mode.
It makes me question, who paid for this full page ad? As of today the NDP will be lucky if they end up with only 2 seats in all of British Columbia.
In closing, we want to show you their problem.

The same holds true for the riding Bob Chamberlin could not win.
In fairness people do show up to support Taylor, a massive turnout in Kitwanga. Free food and drinks, I wonder who paid for that?
My bet is he only gets the vote of the aboriginals that are anti everything except funding, and the only non aboriginals are members of the ecofantics funded by the Tides Foundation. These non aboriginals do not work for a living, they live off the backs of working people.
