Yuri Fulmer – BC Conservative Leadership Race

Why I voted NO

Back in February, B.C. Conservative leadership candidate Yuri Fulmer made the mistake of warning the party faithful to “zip it” on their “pet projects” and forget the culture wars, so the focus could remain on the cost of living.  The response to Fulmer’s statement was brutal. Federal Conservative MP Aaron Gunn, who’s never been afraid to tackle thorny issues, called Fulmer a “horrible candidate.” After launching a torpedo into his own campaign.

In an interview Feb 3, 2026 with Business in Vancouver (BIV), Fulmer urged that the party to unite around “a few issues” that are really important to British Columbians, and argued that the party must stick to pocketbook issues and leave behind culture war “pet projects,” like saving condemned ostriches, gender-neutral washrooms and transwomen competing in women’s sports.

The problem that we see over and over with Yuri is he flip-flops faster than a fish gasping for air out of the water. Its really getting hard to find any issue he has not been defending both sides of the debate, trying to be the one size fits all politician.

The following is a video that I admit I stole, for good reason. Why reinvent the wheel, the author of this video did a lot of research, and selflessly shared it with everyone in our province, to see that we are not taken in by someone so incredibly two faced. We need to send this man packing, he is not an asset to British Columbia, he is a dead weight, a burden that needs to be removed. Watch this video and decide for yourself, and I challenge anyone, Yuri included to prove any of the information in this video is not accurately portrayed.

The above video is sharable, please share it   https://player.mediadelivery.net/play/558802/04e510f0-2657-41aa-adb6-8a1b34d8113c
