CICK 93.9 has become the voice of the Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP

 

CICK 93.9 is licensed under the CRTC to have balanced programing, however what we have witnessed over the last few years, shows CLICK Radio its primarily the voice of the Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP. They even go so far as campaigning for the Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP.  The entire article by CICK Radio was in itself a illegal advertisement for Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP  candidate Frankie Abel. And why is CICK Radio doing promotions for known criminals?

CICK Radio has become a political mouthpiece just like CBC also taxpayer funded became a mouthpiece for the Federal Liberals. it is funded by the Town of Smithers, the former BCNDP Goverment of British Columbia, and the Federal Liberal Goverment of Canada.   Better known and the NDP/Liberal Coalition.

CICK Radio Reporter Dan Mesec: Dan Medec remains listed as the CICK news reporter to this date.  In 2019 Dan Mesec played the dual role as reporter for CICK Radio and the President of the NDP’s Skeena – Bulkley Valley constituency association, that oversaw Taylor Bachrach replacing Nathan Cullen as the NDP candidate for Skeena – Bulkley Valley. Dan Mesec does not have a degree in Journalism. (a 4 year coarse) Dan Mesec took the shorter 2 year coarse in “Photojournalism”.  In the spring 2007 Dan Mesec obtained 1yr certificate Online Publishing/Editing winter 2008 for Click Radio (Vista Radio) in Smithers, plus writing for  DeSmog, The Tyee, Dan Mesec also works full time as Communications director for Skeenawild Conservation Trust. Dan Mesec’s writings are are explicitly part of the NDP socialist agenda. Dan Mesec runs a string of websites that can be found here, Strong Livelihoods – Northern Headwaters – theSkeena – Strong Coast – Strong Livelihoods Society  where he continue to advocate NDP policies.

Let me repeat “CICK 93.9 is licensed under the CRTC to have balanced programing” they have completely abused their obligation to the CRTC. So why is their primary reporter a radical NDP operative?

It’s more than high time to shut this propaganda station down.                   It’s a complete waste of taxpayers dollars.               

Read this article to the end and you will see this was just another Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP tax funded manipulation of facts.

Contrary to CLICK’s obligation to bring balanced programing to our community, they have become “promotional agents” for socialist BC-NDP. There is a big difference between balanced discussions or being promotional agents for the Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP, LGBTQ+, Palestinian protests (soft on Hamas), land defenders, land acknowledgements, anti industry movements, radical environmentalism, and anti Conservative.

 

CASE IN POINT:

Clearly CICK is putting the full blame for not having this event on incumbent MLA Sharon Hartwell, while the paragraph below the photos proves the problem was created by ” The event was postponed following the death of Simogyet Nikateen, Gitxsan Hereditary Chief (Frances Sampson).” Missing entirely from that statement is that the event was cancled due to NDP candidate, Frankie Abel, on account of the death of Simogyet Nikateen, Gitxsan Hereditary Chief (Frances Sampson).

This is a manipulation of facts in favor of the Bulkley Valley-Stikine BCNDP  candidate Frankie Abel.

But it does not end there either.

Understand the following play of deceitful wording by Pamela Haasen – for CICK Radio

Hazelton secondary teacher Lauren Blabey ,who was organizing this debate, “Blabey, who said she is not affiliated with a political party, said she organized the forum because she believed voters should have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates. “Without a debate”, she said, “it could be harder for residents to make an informed choice.”

“Blabey, who said she is not affiliated with a political party”, what a pile of bull manure, she told a 100% outright lie.  Blabey is a member of the BCTF.  The outcome they (the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF),  had hoped for was a win by the BC-NDP. CLICK Radio is complicit in this propaganda campaign, and complicit in violating the BC Elections Act, that forbids CICK Radio from campaigning for the BC-NDP. This is clear evidence its time to stop funding CICK Radfio 93.9 FM.

One either needs to be an extremely uneducated journalist, or be intentionally deceitful, not to mention that Lauren Blabey is an active member of the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF).  Historically, the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF), along with other major provincial labour unions, provided substantial financial backing to the BC NDP.

Is it a coincidence that Lauren Blabey from Hazelton has a brother Scott Blabey who works for the radical environmentalist group the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition who are also hotly opposed to a Conservative win? Was this program at Boston Pizza funded by the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition ?

But there is still so much more:

 

Next we have this except, that really does matter.

 

In the above advertisement by CICK Radio, it was CICK Radio that accused MLA Sharon Hartwell of being misinformed. And she did not received blowback, she was targeted by the same people who were led to the event hosted by two well known criminal activists. We do have photos that can verify this.

Intentionally missing from the story are the actual facts on this matter.

The entire intent of this protest was to falsely smear MLA Sharon Hartwell to give a free media event in favor of the NDP candidate Frankie Abel. CICK Radio was a participant in the illegal promo event for Frankie Abel.  And to do so just before Election Day.

Keep in mind the accusations were being made by two very well known criminal activists, Kolin Sutherland-Wilson and Shaylynn Sampson from Kispiox. Below we have a video copy of the accusations they made.

Bottom Line: CICK Radio promoted false allegations and simultaneously endorsed the same criminals who were behind the CGL Blockades, –  Kolin Sutherland-Wilson and Shaylynn Sampson, both were blockaders on the CGL Pipeline.

 

Why is CICK Radio taking its cues from criminals?

 

Now let’s get serious here for a minute, if you were not trying to prop up the NDP candidate Frankie Abel, then exactly what were you doing as a reporter for CICK Radio?  This event was a targeted event by Kolin Sutherland-Wilson along with Molly’s sidekick Shaylynn Sampson. As a reporter is it not incumbent on you to research the accusers?

It is pointless to dabte the outright lies they told in this video, but truth was never a strong point by activist criminals.

Left unsaid and something CICK Radio could have discovered if they did their job, is that Kolin Sutherland-Wilson is the son of Art Wilson, a Gitxsan hereditary chief known by the hereditary name Wii Muk’willixw. Why is this relevant? His father joined Kolin Sutherland-Wilson in blockading the CGL Pipeline, but much more, he took funding to the tune of 6 Million dollars for supporting the PRGT pipeline.

Recall how the Gitxsan hold their mothers in such high regard? Or how horrible Kolin Sutherland-Wilson and his dad disrespected a Gitxsan matriarch, Kolin’s mother and father Art Wilson? Listen again to how a man charged with criminal possession of stolen property, rants at white oppression while kicking his own mother to the curb. This man does not have an ethical bone in his body.

While Kolin is out there posting his diatribe about the people who built Canada, he entirely ignores what is happening in his own family. Again publicly posted online. And yes, this is all in 2026. All this talk about respecting the matriarch of the family, and he, his dad, and his brother show nothing but absolute disrespect for their mother.
