Kerry Findlay won but ……
Now that everyone else has had their say about the recent BC Conservative Leadership Race, there are some things the mainstream media left out, that said let’s dive into this.
I was one of the many people who was definitely not on team Kerry, I fully believe that our voices count as much as those who did support Kerry Findlay. We and not her or her groupies created the new BC Conservative Party, we are the founding members, and we were insulted to no end by Kerry groupies, and even by Kerry herself as being too Liberal, yet here she is today leading all those too Liberal MLA’s. Oddly she never referred to the ones who endorsed her as being too Liberal.
We are the ones who created the BC Conservative Party in our riding, then to be insulted by Kerry supporters and Kerry herself was a bit much as they took over the “constituency” we built. Many of the Kerry supporters went so far as to say the people who created the BC Conservative Party are all actually Liberals. These same people had no issues with taking over the bank accounts full of cash raised by the other candidates, while by comparison they raised the least.
But as they say politics is a dirty sport, yet these same self-righteous people claim to loath they very behaviour they treated others to.
We are the people who created the BC Conservatives, we are members because being a member is a statement of ethics, it’s a way of life. Even those who drift away from it’s meaning does not change why we are and will remain Conservatives. Kerry won the leadership race, so as Conservatives we will stand behind her, she is in charge now, and will have to prove to the world if she can deliver, unless it was all just hype. Will Kerry serve all the citizens of British Columbia, or just her exclusive fan club? Time will tell, and we have a much greater enemy to deal with.
Yes politics gets dirty, those of us who voted for someone other than Kerry, we as Conservatives can get over it, the question now is can Kerry get over the fact that most BC Citizens, are centralists? I hope Kerry and her groupies soon discover how stupid their purity claims were and remember we are all BC Citizens. Will Kerry apply the purity test to BC citizens, or will she now support all citizens, not just the pure Conservative? Time will tell, it’s time for Kerry to “fly” or “sink” it’s in her court now.
Kerry Findlay won with the most votes, PERIOD the rest was nonsense that would wreak havoc if used federally or provincially. Kerry won based on highest points in all BC Ridings. Unfortunately the same executive that claims to be open in disclosure did not disclose the actual number of votes each candidate received. Also, not disclosed is the number of votes by people not qualified to legally vote in a BC or Federal election, that is a number that scares the heck out of me.It leaves us asking, was it recent immigrants that decided the outcome of our leadership race? One could brush it off, but until the numbers are disclosed it will remain an honest question. The entire methodology was beyond bizarre, but it was equal to all candidates in application so it was fair.
As with every election, it had its share of smear campaigns, and dirty politics, and I confidently believe it was the strategy “purity test” of Kerry that won the day for her, claiming to be the only true Conservative and having social media pundits who were already Kerry supporters push major promotions of this purity test at the Conservative membership.
Now for a reality check, look below and ask yourself who do you want voting for the NDP, and who do you want to vote for Conservatives? Will you chase the Liberal voted away, or will you lose the next election on moral ego? Kerry and her groupies better realize we cannot win without Liberal support, the very notion she condemned throughout the leadership race. Kerry will need to eat a lot of humble pie before she can claim the polls support her over David Eby. Right now the BC Conservative lead was created by Trevor Halford, despite her groupies claiming it was due to Kerry’s win.

The points’ percentage was another part of this “woke” way of tallying up the membership votes. The results will not show the actual number of votes each candidate received. Somehow that actually number of votes is locked in a dark closet as a closely guarded secret. We are the only political party in all of Canada to use this new system of confusion and I have serious doubts that we are better off having used it.
Enough on Kerry, we said our piece and will move on, to remove the NDP extreme left from our province, they are the greater threat.
The election itself was the most secure election ever, most original members knew nothing about thus when they signed up, then refused to vote, because they felt it was an intrusion into their privacy. This is on the executive branch of our party. Then the sheer number of rejections that became as complicated as wrestling a tooth out of an alligator to fix. It was the worst overkill experience I ever encountered in what was supposed to be a democratic vote. I can assure readers I was not alone, it was doing wall-to-wall echoes in disgust by members who have always supported free enterprise in British Columbia.
How can it be more secure when you allow every new immigrant who have not qualified for citizenship decide the leadership of our party? Double that when you count all their kids aged 14 to 17, deciding the leadership of our government, its insane, it’s crazy. If you have not qualified as a citizen, simply put you have not earned the right to vote.
Worse is these people know more about the problems back home in their birth country than they know about ours, so they will vote for the leader who will to do the most for their countries and support immigration from their country.
Next the stupid ballots themselves, the BC Conservatives once again are using a system that to this date is not approved for either Federal or Provincial or Municipal politics, and if it would result in a disaster of an outcome.
Imagine for a minute, if we applied that provincially, you had to pass the 50% threshold to win the election, or federally where both the Conservatives and Liberals would most certainly fail to get over 50% and allow the NDP second choice to decide who leads our country. I did what many other voters did, choose who you want to lead the party, end of story.
The other very detrimental annoyance was the bombardment of telephone solicitations and multiple polling done by people hiding who they are working for, its clear why they did so, as I seriously doubt people will vote for getting harassed by phone calls. I have no doubt people will question whether or not they will ever buy another membership, just on the issue of harassing phone calls. I fully understand why people might in future refuse to give the party their phone numbers.
Setting the stupidity of purity testing aside, we are all conservatives, and will all stand behind the winner Kerry Findlay, and if you have any doubt as to why we do so you really need to watch this next video, this speech said everything that every Canadians need to know about why Conservatives hold strong to their convictions, why they won’t bend as the paid Liberal media demands of them. It’s not a left and right story, it’s a story about right and wrong.
The best ever explanation of what it means to be a Conservative.
That fool thinks he can call our new leader and extremist right wing, when you put the leaders up against each other, then you would see the following. If NDP John Horgan was 15 degrees to the left, David Eby by comparison would be 45 degrees to the left of normal NDP. Now if former Liberal leader Christy Clark was 15 degrees left of centre, then Kerry Findlay would be a central politician on the right, if not she will never last.
It’s now up to Kerry to bring everyone who is not a socialist leach, on board with BC citizens who are willing to work for a living and earn an honest day pay vs depending on someone else’s wallet to make ends meet.
