British Columbia – 9 Years Lost in the Wilderness

For close to a full decade now British Columbia has reminded me of an airliner not quite sure when or where to crash. Worse the pilots on board are plundering what wealth they can from passengers making promises they never intend to keep. We have the means (resources) to cover all costs but when you owe your election to American institutions like the Tides and or Betty Moore Foundation, you lock them in the ground them let the public think it was the fault of BC Aboriginals and not BC NDP policy.

But for that to work you must first create a growing animosity between aboriginals and everyone else, by giving the illusion that you will give aboriginals extra rights, extra benefits, extra privileges and denounce everyone else as living on stolen land.

My neighbour told me, pun intended, that for citizens having issues with the cost of living, like the absence of BC Medicare, the absence of ambulance service, to name a few, the NDP is there to help with an alternative life of narcotics and amphetamines. And if that does not work, free MAID services are available.

I just read 10 overdose cases in Smithers in one day February 27th 2026. But no worries, MAID services can offset the housing shortage to anyone willing to give up their seat to a temporary workers from South Asian nations. Both the BC NDP and Liberals are saying we are all living on stolen land so they bring 1.3 million new immigrants over the last 4 years. If we are living on stolen land why are they not asking the Indians if it is OK to flood Canada with 100 million immigrants by 2100?

When will the elected NDP MLA’s disclose who they are lobbyists and lawmakers for? Almost every sitting NDP MLA was a member of some anti development group before taking their oath of office. Even David Eby was a member of the Vancouver Foundation. The same Vancouver Foundation that sent 300 Thousand dollars to block the Ksi Lisims LNG pipeline.

This project was to build a Dog Sanctuary on the survey line for the Ksi Lisims LNG pipeline to create a new point of violence.

The Vancouver Foundation is loaded with grants for the only two Gitxsan house groups that oppose the Ksi Lisims LNG pipeline, while 62 house groups have approved the project. We have the two faces of David Eby, telling the world he supports the Ksi Lisims LNG pipeline while being part of a lobby to stop it.

David Eby also was a cofounder of the Social Activist Law Student Association. Look at what they do. Would anyone for a second believe David Eby ignores these organizations lobbying for his interferance in these projects, or in land title?

We are overdue for disclosure laws that prevent MLA’s from acting as lobbyists for groups dedicated to manipulating the vote and working to block projects that have been legally approved, as per the example of Taylor Bachrach his connections with Dogwood BC and the Skeena Wild, Stand.Earth, Greenpeace, Driftwood Foundation, What Matters In Our Valley (WMIOV) and the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition (just to name a few) we know he was a federal MP, but I am quite sure if it were closely examined we would see the same groups come up linked to Nathan Cullen.

Nathan Cullen in back row.

We can confirm Nathan Cullen’s connections to Jonathan Moore SFU activist scientist on Skeena Wild payroll,  Gerald Amos also a Skeena Wild employee/trustee longtime activist,  Regan house speaker I think; Cullen in back; Chief Yahaan Wesley; Greg Knox the Executive Director of Skeena Wild, John Ridsdale; and Ken Lawson as well as the Friends of Wild Salmon.

My bet is over 60% of the sitting MLA’s are members of environmentalists’ groups and vote as lobbyists for those groups.

We do understand everything is not provincial however we live with an ever-increasing number of woke leftists who are so open-minded their brains fell out.  We have a war with Iraq and the same people who brought UNDRIP to our doorstep are now defending the Iran. Why is Canada even a member of the Unitied Nations, run from a snakepit of members that hate the western world.

This same UN brought us UNDRIP

Who elected there woke radicals to tell the citizens of BC what we are or are not allowed to do?

We have Amnesty International who you would think was there to protect human rights, not so much these days, they are protecting terrorists rights here in the Bulkley Valley.

Genocide by way of Resource Extraction
Genocide by way of Resource Extraction – Next level of Insanity

This is not about Human Rights, its blatant radical environmentalist ideology.

It’s not easy being a Northerner, when we all drive cars and trucks to work, and watch how the gas prices soar to new levels mostly due to taxes. The carbon tax has been renamed to Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR) as “carbon tax 2.0” now we pay GST and PST on the carbon tax. I could go on and on, it’s been a decade long nightmare with a body count that matches a legacy of the BC NDP.

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

The light at the end of the tunnel is not an illusion, the tunnel is.

There were a lot of people very hurt when we saw the only hope British Columbia had fall apart, we watched how the Conservatives held true to its own history, shooting their own even before the opposition could. We loved how John Rustad was able to turn the Federal Blue Wave into a BC Blue wave. Common sense was the theme, thanks in large part to people like Aaron Gunn for seeing this opportunity and guiding it into existence. But things went wrong, in the explosion of the BC Conservatives the traditional vetting process was not possible, so we had a lot of self-promoting renegades come out of the woodwork. You can easily identify them as loners who refuse to be part of a team and think everyone on the team must conform to them. I won’t name names, we all know who they are. They all used the BC Consertvative funds to get elected, then kicked the party in the teeth and playing the role of victims.

We did see a lot of people come forward, and show their interest in leading the team. But again leading is one thing, being part of a team is quite another. Today we have a list to choose from, in addition to asking if they can lead a team, just exactly where do they stand on the important issues? In social media I am seeing a lot of anti-Liberal sentiment, justified or not, its real. Social media is telling it as it is, we do not want a repeat of history, after all it was the BC Liberals that brought us the much hated SOGI and DRIPA. That said a lot leads back to John Rustad, who later on admitted he had no choice but to tow the party line. That is how politics work, like it or hate it.

On the issue of candidates to choose from, we see MLA Bruce Banman, MLA Harman Bhangu, former B.C. Liberal cabinet minister Iain Black, commentator Caroline Elliott, former federal MP Kerry-Lynne Findlay, entrepreneur Yuri Fulmer, contractor Warren Hamm, former grocery executive Darrell Jones and MLA Peter Milobar.

We are still quite early in the race, so it would be honest to say it’s anyone’s game at this point of the race. In the north we saw a little of MLA Bruce Banman, who was in many ways the sidekick of John Rustad. I was unaware of any presentation he made in our neck of the woods, so I really cannot comment. Yuri Fulmer did come to Smithers and I suspect that it was a poorly planned and difficult event to hold in a karaoke bar, but he did a lot of chat table by table so those who went were able to have some great conversations. There are still some major gaps in planning and communicating with the list of candidates, so to date not much information of who is and who won’t be coming to our northern communities.

As someone who is retired I have the time to closely watch what is going on, so I was deeply disturbed by former federal MP Kerry-Lynne Findlay comments about a Liberal takeover of the BC Conservative Party. After completing me research, I have to conclude she is either out of touch with provincial politics, or is mudslinging her way to the top of the barrel. Anyone who watched the long Christy Clark interview will know that the BC United has no Liberals in it, Christy Clark is mad as hell at its founder Kevin Falcon who she loves to brag lost the leadership race to her. To prevent other groups from using the former name, BC United retained the registration of “BC Liberal” as an alternative or former name with Elections BC. We do know Iian Black was a former BC Liberal, but opposed both UNDRIP and Sogi and was well known as a federal Conservative.

A word to the wise, please do not parrot this lie about BC Liberal takeover, it has no grounds in truth, its divisive and posions our party.

Christy Clark in a recent interviw so much as said if they released the brand BC Liberal she would attempt to bring it back to BC Politics. There are no Liberals in the BC United as they all quit when Kevin Falcon a Conservative took leadership of the party. If you do not agree, prove me wrong. Watch this interview.

There was one incident that did catch my attention, given the very obvious dislike for BC Liberals, when we read that Carol Fielding the Federal Liberal riding chair for Skeena-Bulkley Valley was working on MLA Peter Milobar’s campaign team, we were hoping he would confirm or deny this allegation, but it appears silence is all we are getting on that issue.

The Light at the end of a dark Decade.

The one massive surprise came from Caroline Elliott, so many people showed up it was like a mini rock star making an appearance, the Aspen moved the event to use up the entire restaurant, we counted over 50 people.  Even after every chair was filled there was standing room only if you arrived late like Dan Mesec who was the President of the NDP’s Skeena – Bulkley Valley Constituency Association, that oversaw Taylor Bachrach replacing Nathan Cullen as the NDP candidate for Skeena – Bulkley Valley. That was telling, the NDP sending him out of concern for the NDP fortunes, even if he used his CLICK credentials to appear legit. There are many questions regarding Dan Mesec’s ties to the terrorist attacks (posing with the terrorists) to his connections with all the radical organizations listed as connected to Taylor Bachrach.

When the opposition shows up at a Conservative event, you know we have a winner on the stage.

I have no doubt that locals really were able to connect with Caroline Elliott, to see exactly where she stands, plus the fact that she made our riding a priority by coming here and doing the gruelling hours to make everyone feel like we were part of taking back our province. For those who are trying to make this critical choice, and I say critical, because losing the next election to the NDP is not an option. I did extensive research into each candidate, and I continue to listen to all of them. What really stood out for me was her track record. Caroline Elliott was a political commentator based in Vancouver. She has a PhD specializing in Canadian liberal democracy from Simon Fraser University. Check out what she has written, long before she became a candidate. Also read “Caroline Elliott: I’m taking the hard road. Here’s why.”
